Edited by Dr Leng, later bishop of Norwich. Tonson’s four finely printed quarto editions of Horace, Virgil, Terence and Catullus were among the first works executed for the Cambridge University Press. They were certainly a milestone in the career of Tonson himself (he was soon planning the great Caesar of 1712) and set new standards for the English trade generally., Dibdin II, 473.
